Be Like Jesus Companion

Developing a Loving child

The best way to teach young children about God’s love is to demonstrate our love for them. We can also demonstrate God’s love by showing love towards one another and by serving and helping others.

Family Connections

The best way to teach young children about God’s love is to demonstrate our love for them, by showing love towards one another and by serving and helping others.

Plan a “just because” surprise party for someone special (grandma/grandpa, mom, dad, aunt, uncle, teacher, pastor). Allow your child to participate in the planning and have your child make a special gift for the guest of honor. Afterwards talk about how your child felt doing something special for someone else. Talk about how the person felt when they received the surprise. Encourage young children to share with friends during a play-date.
